A Vegan Thanksgiving

It’s this time of year again, when I receive endless questions about what I eat as a vegan. Thanksgiving is traditionally filled with meat and dairy dishes, but there are many slight tweaks we can make to have a more environmentally friendly and healthy meal with friends and family, that is just as delicious.

Here is a list of recipes for a vegan Thanksgiving:

Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Herb Roasted Carrots

Vegan Meatballs with Grapefruit Glaze

Vegan Pate

Vegan Gravy

Cranberry sauce in a bowl with oranges and zest.

Cranberry Sauce

Vegan Mac and Cheese

Vegan Green Bean Casserole

Butternut Squash Soup

Vegan Pumpkin Spice Muffins

Vegan Pumpkin Pie

And if you’re thinking of buying a vegan holiday meat, check out my blog posts where I tested and ranked them so you know which one is the best: Vegan Holiday Meats Taste Test!

Whether you’re enjoying a vegan Thanksgiving or not, I’m wishing you a happy Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones. Remember that Thanksgiving is about being thankful for all the amazing things we have in our life… and the amazing food, so I hope you take time for yourself to enjoy both!
